About Us

In the 1970s, Ray Poston began working at Vulcraft which is a division of Nucor Steel.  Working as a welder and later in the maintenance department he learned the importance of safety while maintaining a high level of production.  In 1999, along with his oldest son Jay, Ray started Poston Painting, LLC.  Poston Painting established itself in the residential and commercial markets in Florence, SC on high quality and honesty.  After 12 successful years in the architectural painting market, Poston Painting began to focus primarily on the industrial coatings industry.  Using Ray's knowledge and experience in the steel industry and plant maintenance, Jay and his youngest brother Josh, started a division of Poston Painting named Poston Industrial.   

 

Poston Industrial specializes in all forms of abrasive blasting, industrial, safety and specialty coatings.  However, the most important thing they practice and teach their employees is SAFETY.  Safety is not an afterthought but it is a fundamental part of their business.  No job or any amount of money is worth compromising the safety of their employees.  This is why each week starts with a mandatory safety meeting as well as rewarding employees for safe working days.  Poston Industrial has an impeccable safety record with zero days lost to injury for well over 15 years.
